Michael J. Whalen, RT, MBA, Practice Administrator

Michael Whalen, who is the administrator of our practice, earned his associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from Hudson Valley Community College. After several years of work in the field, in 1983 he was made Administrative Director of Medical Imaging at St. Mary's Hospital, in Troy, New York. He became Administrative Director of Medical Imaging at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, NY, in 1989. During his time at St. Peter's, the department grew tremendously in the number and variety of services performed.

In addition to his training as a radiologic technologist, Mr. Whalen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Saint Rose. He also earned his MBA from Saint Rose.

He lives in Watervliet, north of Albany, with his wife and two children and serves on the Board of Directors of Sunnyside Center, a not-for-profit children's daycare center in Troy, New York. Michael is an avid golfer.
